An estimate is a rough calculation of the cost of your stone project, not the final price. We base it on the details you provide, such as measurements, layout, edge style, material choice, and installation.

How to take measurements yourself

Tools needed:

  • Tape measure
  • Paper and pen
  • Calculator

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Sketch Your Layout.

Draw a rough outline of your countertops (top-down view). Label each section (A, B, "Island", "Vanity", etc.).

2. Measure Each Section

Use inches to measure, legnth  (along the wall), width (front to back-standar is usually 25.5-26")

3. Include Details

Mark on your sketch the locations of items such as sinks, stoves, backsplashes (if needed), islands, and special cutouts, etc.

4. calculate Square Footage

Formula: (length in inches x Width in inches/ 144
